I always have unique sounds on my phone for text msgs so I know it's mine. I used to have the Road Runner for the sound. Nothing like turning it on after a commercial flight and people laughing as msgs come through.
I like Star Trek and my phone sound has been the sonar noise made on the bridge of the Enterprise from the new movies. I'm sitting around with the TV on and the volume down low. I start hearing the sonar sound going off time and time again. I'm wondering what is happening and look around for my phone. Who would be sending me so many msgs at once??
I'm about to get up to find my phone when I realize the sonar noise is on surround sound... it's from my TV! I realize my phone is right beside me with nothing on it and I look up to see this flippin commercial!
Some new car commercial is out which starts with showing the Enterprise and has the same sonar sound effect. I guess they're comparing their car to the Enterprise.
Guess it's time to find a new sound on my phone.

The sound on my phone for text messages is "Woohoo!! Text message!!" The sound for an e-mail message is "A message from the dark side there is," said in Yoda's voice. One of my daughter's ring tone is the death march from Star Wars (because she only calls if she wants something).
