Do you play them? I used to, but it seems like every game requires you to spend money on it in order to progress. Also, I hate that I have to ask my friends to send me some object so that I can meet a goal. If/when I want to play games WITH my friends, I would drag out the Monopoly board and invite people to my house.

Not anymore, no. I did for a short time but as you say you either need to pay or spam yours (and your friends') status updates to really get the most of it. And I detest that and being forced to watch those sort of updates from my friends

lol I get all those requests and status updates they are annoying in my opinion, so I have them muted, just do it once when you first get then get no more.

Yeah, when I played games on FB, I tried to only send requests to the people I for sure knew were playing the same games. I definitely did not want to annoy people.

Like Marcy I've tried blocking most of them too. A few still seem to slip through by tagging a friend in a picture or something like that. Thankfully not many of my friends play much so not a big issue
